Labor Day Weekend 2016
This year we went to Riverside Campground again.  Ray and I took the camper and enjoyed using that.
Here are a few pictures.

Jessica planned great meals.  We are very lucky that she will do the planning for us.

The intrepid hunter in "full uniform".  He heard and saw and shot at elk, but none got into the trailer.  Travis is wearing his very quiet leather moccasin hunting boots. Good for sneaking up on the elk.

Travis retrieving a rope that had been left by a previous hunter/camper/

Interesting holes drilled into the ground by some kind of  bug creatures.

Las Vegas - October 11 and 12, 2016

We all (that being Kim, Jessica, Bev, Ann, and Renee) got really hungry.  Where better to go to relieve that hunger, than the buffets offered by the hotels of Las Vegas?  There are a lot of selfie photos, so be prepared for five faces smiling in unison.

So much for selfies.  Now to the food.

In line for the food

Mingling with celebrities

Which is the wax figure?

These are both real humans.

We stayed at the Bellagio Hotel and our rooms had a view!!!! No brick walls to look at out of our windows.  We had the famous fountains to enjoy.

When we weren't gazing at the water from our windows, we were experiencing the water from poolside.

We'd been hearing about the really bad weather that was happening in Oregon, and there was some concern that our flight might be delayed or rerouted.  But we went directly to PDX and the consensus of all is that the landing was the worst that any of us had ever experienced.

There was no official competition between the five of us, but I'm pretty confident that I gained the most weight over the three days.
