Out of Order 47

 Oregon City, Oregon Week 47 - November 22 Nov 28, 2021

This is the week of thanksgiving Break  I know....there is no such thing, but this year the kids have a week and a half off for Thanksgiving....not the two days as of old.

I thought I would teach Abby how to sew a straight line and help me with a quilt top.  For never having pressed her "foot to the pedal" she did an amazing good job.  The seams weren't always exactly 1/2 inch wide, but  I made it work.

We had a nice thanksgiving dinner.  Nancy and Dex and Marci came.   Evan Natalie and clay came.  A friend of Warren's came.  Travis and fam. Malcolm and fam. Lisa and Doron.  And then the regulars (Scott Louthan Gray and Gray).

Sunday night Warren made a delicious dessert.  I was actually able to "play" with Holland by giving her bites.

One afternoon this week I spent some time in the woods using a shovel to dig up blackberry roots.  It was a good workout.  The red glove gives you and idea of size.
