 Week 4 - Oregon City, Oregon - January 24 - January 30, 2022

Our friends, Adrian and Jami Beech, have gone on their mission to Church Hdq in SLC.  On Monday night there was a casual farewell for them at the Isom's.

This week we finished splitting and stacking the wood from Mr. Majestic that has be in the corner of the hay field for about a year.  The weather was clear and not raining, so we powered through the rounds and did them all.

Mostly stacked.  There is room for two more layers of wood in this section.

The library has "kid activity kits" that you can get.  This week we got nine little baggies with Lego pieces and instructions on how to make a Christmas tree.  They were fun to make.

For Activity Day we had a second art lesson on painting.

Here is their artwork from two sessions on the wall.

The biggest event of the week is that Warren and Whitney drove to California to attend a gymnastics meet with U CAL at Berkeley....and Holland and Copeland stayed with us.  Honestly, we were a bit apprehensive because...well, because they really like their parents and aren't too good with doing new things.  But we were game.  The whole week turned out very well.  Perhaps the best thing we did was make a calendar, of sorts - one piece of paper per day, each divided up into Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Bedtime.  Holland could easily keep track and knew when mommy and daddy wee coming home.  And it was only three days....

Just a bunch of photos to remember the good times.

Dad took the kids to their house Sunday night and put them to bed - with the promise to, "when you wake up in the morning, Mommy and Daddy will be here!"

Spring is here.  The first photo of Osamaronia cerasiformis!
