Week 27 - Girls Camp/Grandchildren- July 5 to July 10, 2022

It was Girl's Camp week, and both Jessica and Bev went as adult helpers/coordinators.  We got to keep the Louthan children, and Abby and Logan came over when the mood hit them.  We planned a busy schedule.

Tuesday-

We went for a walk in the woods to find the hammock and to fix up the benches (concrete blocks and boards) that I had taken to the bottom of Cedar Trail months ago.

In the afternoon we went to Sahallie Illahee Park in West Linn - because there is a great slide there.

Wednesday - we went to the cemetery to photograph a headstone for find A Grave.  Then we went to play at Canemah Park. Don't forget the hot tub.

Thursday - we went to the Eagle Creek Fish Hatchery which I'd discovered when Logan and I did our trip.  I called ahead of time and was told there was a Visitor's Center and that we'd see fish.  Well, when we got there, there were no employees, no nothin.  There were big concrete tubs of watern but we couldn't see any fish.  Sad....

To recover the day, we took our picnic lunch to Eagle Fern Park where there were trees, a river, and a play structure.

It's official - the favorite dinner is chicken fingers!

And smores were a favorite too.

Friday we went to Hug Point which is my favorite place to visit on the coast.

Ruby loved the caves and everything!

Warren was great at flying a kite.

Saturday - was pretty much a "sit and wait for Mom to come home".  We determined that French Toast was the favorite breakfast.

And apples were good too.

Laptops were the favorite default activity.

We learned how to wash a car.

And the moms finally came home!
