Week 5 - Oregon City - January 29 - February 4, 2024
Let's start the week with some photos of beautiful sunrises.....this was the first week in ages where we've had some clear skies and sun.
Now...baby Jamie pictures!
Cat photos
We're transitioning the cats from kitten food to adult food....and we have some freeze dried kat food featuring poultry and fish. I mixed the kitten food with the adult food and made a gradual blend of the mix ...so they will transition easily - very pampered cats.
I FINSHED the windows!!! Even washed them all.
And...I cleaned up and put away all of the supplies. I had pulled out all of the boxes on the shelves to get the perfect paint brush...and so forth. I organized all of the boxes (can find things now) and reshelved them.
We went to a different cemetery this week for Find A Grave photos. It ws tricky figuring out the numbering system and finding the graves; we prevailed.
Logan came over a couple of times and helped Dad with the fruit tree trimming. When it was time to move the trailer load of suckers, Logan got to drive the ATV. He was pretty happy about that.
A very big maple tree - pretty sure it was dead. Unfortunately it crossed my hiking trails three times. It'll be a mess to clean up.
With our trusty cordless pruning shears, I cut up all of the small branches and let them drop to the forest floor to help rejuvenate the soil.
Before
After
Ryan took Abby to a Princess Ball - I think it was a community thing.
Saturday was the first day - since Christmas- that the sky was sunny and the - temperature was warm. We took Holland, Jane, and Copeland (and Ruby went along too) to the nifty park in Sandy for their Christmas present. They had a blast. The only disappointment was that Joe's Donuts was closed for repairs.
Magnus and his date heading out to the Preference Dance.
Hard to believe it - but Holland is six. Her cake is a custom cake - totally decorated according to her directions. It might be a cherry tree cake.
