Week 21 - Oregon City - May 20 - May 26, 2024

This week....working in the woods.....cats.....hike for the Primary Activity....Skyline Cemetery.

Warren finally adopted Misty Marshmallow!!!  Here is the happy cat and new family.

Working in the woods - - I spent hours walking back and forth in each of the Sectors with my shovel in  hand.  When I came to a sprot of blackberry or ivy or filbert or nettle or thistle, I dug it up, shook the soil off of the roots, and left the plant to dry out.  Here is an offensive filbert growing out of a filbert nut - - thank you squirrels.

Wednesday night for the Primary Activity, we went to the Newell Creek Nature Park and took the half mile one-way hike to Tumble Falls.  The kids had a great time.

On one of my walks to West Slope, Jack followed me and did a gymnastics routine on this dead tree.

I bought two new "hammock" beds for the cats - they really like them.

Sunday afternoon we went to the cemetery to clean up the graves of Dad's family.

We also went to Vannessah's and Kylie's graves and left flowers.

A good and busy week.
