A beautiful Cockleburr plant. I wanted to leave it and just pluck off the buds. But I needed to remember that a Cocklebur is evil.....and you don't want to keep them around just as you don't want to keep doing evil things...you might slip.
This week - - was "get the house painted" week. Our neighbor Jake Barstad does painting, and he gave us a good quote....so he started on Monday. different brand of paint- Benjamin Moore and not Miller Paint. But same color - the Benjamin Moore color is Chopped Dill and Clinton Brown. Jake actually did the pressure washing on Friday of last week, and started scraping and caulking on Monday.

after - not exact comparison because time of day is different. The paint does seem brighter.

We had Fourth of July dinner and fireworks at The Manor. Lots of good food. Lots and lots of loud fireworks. Like last year, we made tie-dye shirts.
Friday - July 5 - Bev arranged a Temple Baptism Session for Shelby, Tyler, Gretchen, Logan, Abby, and Clara. I provided all of the names from by Reserved and Shared lists.
