 Week 45 - Oregon City - October 27 - November 2, 2025

Gotta start out with photos of Zelenski.  We call the first "large and jobless"

This one is "trying to look small and cute"

Logan was on the JV Cross Country team this term....it was his first experience with running and he did pretty well.  Each race resulted in an individual PR for him.  This week was his final race of the season.

Dad bought two packages of drawer dividers which we installed in to four drawers.  When the kids remodeled the kitchen while we were on our mission, they just put "stuff back" where is worked.  When we came back to the brand new kitchen, we never got around to doing any organizing and have just lived in drawer chaos ever since.  It was so easy to use the dividers - it's a shame we didn't install them earlier.  Kitchen life is much easier now!

Halloween was Friday.  We only had two groups of trick-or-treaters.

We've spent quite a bit of time figuring out how to dig the holes needed to plant the hedge of Emerald Green Arbs along the property line.  Can we borrow Mike Christensen's excavator? Can we rent something with a back hoe?  Then we had the idea to call Gary Clark to get an idea from him.  He said we could borrow his 12-in and 24-in augur that would work on our Kubota.  On Saturday, our sons (and Whitney) came together and went o Gary's and pulled out the three point frame and augur from a blackberry bramble,  got it into the trailer, and brought it home.  Dad, Paul, and Malcolm...and Jude, spent a lot of time with it and finally got it attached to the Kubota.  It still needs a lot of work because the drive shaft was frozen by rust. It (the drive shaft) was finally loosened, and now needs to be cleaned - bigly - before we can use it to make holes.  Unfortunately, in hind sight, there are no photos.

Warren friend, Elliott, who teaches Art History at BYU was in town for a conference.  He came to Sunday dinner - a really nice and interesting man.
