Week 50 - Oregon City - December 1 - December 7, 2025
Monday - We needed to tend to our little Arbs. It has, of course, rained since we planted them and there have been some strong winds. So, in some instances, the trees have sunk into the ground, and some of the trees are. We raked soil around the base of the trees and did a little pulling and pushing to get them as vertical as we wanted.
I finally finished the Christmas stockings for Holland and Copeland. I started when we went on our road trip to Michigan and finished the upper pat of the sock by the time we returned home. then I had to do the top stitching, which took forever because I was doing it AFTER I made the seam which turned the flat knitted upper into a TUBE. Working on the tube made the creation of the tree, Santa, and initials infinitely more difficult. Jolein Vona helped me turn the heel and make the toe. I was vey grateful for her help.
Santa came to the annual Ward Christmas party.
