The Ward Christmas party this year was going to be an 'activity centered' party instead of a dinner and entertainment. Sister Reed (Primary President) was in charge of the event and asked Ray if he would head up the Wreath Making Event. Fortunately, Warren and Whitney helped a lot - I helped too, but probably not as much as W & W.
Here we all are gathering cedar, Doug Fir, holly, and yew from around our place

Making small bundles of the bough tips to eventually bind on to the ring.

The construction of the wreaths at the party

Three of the ones we made

After the party, Ray and I made a total of eight to give away to ward members who had been unable to come to the party and to some of our neighbors - Toni and John Mason, Val and Lori Glenn, Steve Weber, Dick and Linda Conlee, Travis and Ann, the Lundgreens, Bill and Shirley Smith , and our new neighbor (the Beyl/Kerth house) Esther.
This one is on Shirley Smith's front door.

It became apparent that Abby's bike was too small for her - her poor legs were bent as she pedaled and she could maintain no speed. I started to clean out and reorganize the bike shed and found this purple bike which fit her perfectly!

Family Home Evening at the Scott's was Christmas cookie decorating.

The Louthans strung popcorn to decorate their tree, but I have no photos of this.
Whitney was the soccer coach for Logan's team this fall, and, in appreciation, she received a gift certificate to Claim Jumper. Aaaa....nnnnn...ddddd - to express W & W's appreciation to Ray and Camille for all their help during the landscaping at the Fort, they took us all out to dinner.

Poor Dad had to have a colonoscopy because of a questionable result from test. Luckily, Whitney has had more than a person's normal share of colonoscopies, so she gave Ray a lot of advice on how to prepare for the ordeal. Besides not eating for 24 hours and drinking awful stuff and sleeping most of the day of the procedure, everything went well.

Friday was Jessica's 45th birthday, and, of course, a trip to Cheesecake Factory was in order. One excellent change which occurred while we were on our mission is that there is now a C Factory at Clackamas Town Center!!!
I finally did my decorating for the season - A bit subdued, but it is what we have this year. I found a potted spruce tree in the back yard under the magnolia bush (I have no idea where it came from), and it screamed "Christmas Tree". I found all my little rabbit decorations and added on three that Jessica gave to me this week.

And our wreath from the Christmas Party

Sunday evening we had the birthday party for Jessica!!

Sunday evening was also the Stake Christmas Devotional which featured the spoken word, a choir and an almost 'full orchestra' On first violin were Charlotte Laughlin and Warren. seconds were Jessica and me, and Bev along with Dolores were the violas. All other instruments were good too.

This was Holland's first 'official' concert
