Oregon City, Oregon - Week 52 - December 30, 2019 - January 5, 2020

We completed the Christmas Activities Gifts to the grandchildren this week.

On Monday we took Logan and found caches along both sides of the Clackamas between the water treatment plant and the pedestrian bridge.  Logan had so much fun that he was practically giddy. We had one cache where we really needed his help.  It was in a cedar tree about thirty feet from the ground.  Logan handled it like a pro.

We completed the Puzzle Cache that Natalie and Clay had solved for us.  It was located on the spit of land between the lagoon and the Clackamas River.  It was a bit tricky to find.  First we had to trespass (but it was for scientific purposes ).



The cache was on this tree covered with ivy; it was attached near the base of the tree.

We went to the movies too.  I took Magnus and Tyler to the new Starwars movie and I understood absolutely nothing.  Dad took Shelby and Archer to Jumanji 2 and enjoyed it.

Abby came over one afternoon to have her Cooking Activity with me.  She had FUN and was proud that she now knows how to crack eggs.  We made cupcakes, a cake, and choc chip cookies.













On Saturday we took Jude and Eric geocaching.  Jude had done it last year, but poor Eric was kinda clueless as to what was happening.  The weather was good, and we all had a good time.

I'm doing my best to teach them how to orient the map (or the phone with the map)

On New Year's Day the girls had a Girls Night Out at claim Jumper



While the girls were at Claim Jumper, the boys were at Dairy Queen

The biggest event of the week was the birth of Warren and Whitney's baby boy, Copeland Raymond Gray, born on January 2 at 2:15 PM.
