Week 52 - Oregon City, December 26, 2022
Jessica and family opened presents on Monday morning because that was when Natalie and clay finally managed to get into town after all of the flight cancelations. We went over to their house for the festivities.
I especially like the gift Abby had given her parents - it the the family portrait Abby had drawn for them during Activity Days.
We had our Secret Santa Gift Exchange Monday evening because that was the only date everyone would be available. It was a log of fun. Actually it is always fun because you make a list of things you want, put them on the google list, and your Secret Santa gets something for you from that list.
This day I had also found a newspaper announcement of my parents wedding with a description of her wedding gown. I also located the dress in the basement, took it over, and Shelby modeled it.
On Thursday we went to McMinniville Aviation Museum and too, Eric, Jude and Clara for their Christmas Activity. Travis and Gretchen also came. It was a great day. So many airplanes and engines and rockets and descriptions!!!
Someone got my camera and took Santa photos.
We went to Subway for lunch.
On Saturday we did our annual trip to downtown Portland. We ate lunch at Pine Street Market and then went to Pioneer Place.
On Sunday we did a Find a Grave and took Jane with us. She was an eager helper.
On Sunday we celebrated Copeland's third birthday.
It was a good week.
2022 was a good year too.
