Week 41 - Oregon City, Oregon - October 9 - Oct 15, 2023
Let's see - this week we did cats, grapes, cats, Oregon State/UCLA football, cats, and birthday cupcakes. It's a little embarrassing that I have more photos of the cats than anything else.
We are finished with grapes for the season....we did grape juice, almost non-stop every day since we came back from Canada We figure we did 44 batches of juice which is approximately 288 quarts or 72 gallons of juice. My fingers are/were horribly stained. We hardly knew what to do when we finished the juice and cleaned up. We might put a photo of a quart of grape juice on our Christmas card this year.
Turns out that the cats LOVE the cat tree we got last weekend. I will limit the number of photos I post.
We let them go outside for a couple of hours each day - and surprisingly, they come to us when we use a distinctive whistle. Jack comes much more quickly than Zelensky does. Here they are mesmerized by the "chucking" of a treed squirrel above them in a pine tree.
On Saturday we went to the football between the Beavers and the UCLA Bruins. Three really good things about the game - - - we won the tickets in an Alumni give-away - - - it did not rain - - -and the Beavers won!!
