Oregon City, Oregon - Week 29 - June 15 - June 21, 2019

Warren and Whitney's Pergola Project is continuing.

There were cookie sales this week. chocolate chip and something incredibly yummy.

...and paintd rocks

My custom pained rock - a rabbit, of course

Malcolm replaced our toilet that had a pretty long bowl which intereferred with our feet and knees and such.  The new one gives us at least three more inches which is like going first class when you have a cast on your foot.

Speaking of feet--I got a new cast.

foot looks the same

Doctor checking it out.  He pushed my foot to 90 degrees and asked it that hurt....no.  Then he said, "good, the tendon is still attached."  I asked if he was surprised and he said no, but that they always check.

New hard cast in Oregon State orange.  Still non-weight bearing.  I will go back in two weeks and will get a semi-weight bearing cast (whatever that is) which I will use with crutches.  One step with left foot.  One step with right foot and two crutches.

The next best thing - or maybe the best thing - is that on the way home from the cast appointment, we picked up the shade cloth which is now installed!!!!!

Here in all of its splendor

I am so happy with how it turned out.  Thank you Dad and Warren and Travis.

I took this photo to see the difference between the two sets of shade cloths.  The one on the left is the older and should be a little lighter than the one on the right.  But I can't really tell the difference.

And I am splendidly enjoying the shade with Ruby and Janie.

Saturday was Soren Lundgreen's wedding reception.  It was held a the church building over by where the greenhouses use to be.  Wow - the facility has a covered area!!
