 Week 14 - Oregon City, Oregon - April 1 - April 7, 2024

Surprise!  Ivan and Renee and Bjorn and Magnus came to visit us this week - it is Spring Break in Orem.  If was fun to have them here.  Ivan and Bjorn solved some computer issues for us - replaced the cooling fam in one or our ASUS laptops. Ivan, Bjorn, and Dad worked on Jessica's old brush mower (so she could sell it - since no one uses it anymore), and now it is ready for Facebook Marketplace.

We all went to one of Tyler's track meets and cheered on the Pioneers!

On Thursday we drove to Vernonia which is where Renee lived while she was in high school.  We drove all over and visited the different places where she had lived and gone to school...and to Seminary.  Stopped at Vernonia Lake where Ivan remembered that he and Travis had gone fishing there.

We also went to the Vernonia Cemetery where her baby brother (Phillip Axel Carlson) is buried.  Had a little difficulty finding the grave site, but eventually found the site where the cemetery records say he is buried.  Although, the photo posted here is where Lee Carlson placed a temporary memorial at the spot he remembers as being correct.

On Friday we all (by all.....I mean all of the siblings and spouses..not Ryan) went to Bajio for some yummy Mexican style food.

This is Benny - at least Warren and I call him Benny (he's orange and black).

Ruby and Jack.

Jack is balancing on a fallen cedar tree that I haven't cut up yet.  In the future, anyone reading this blog will think that we only did activities with cats.

On afternoon Holland helped me sew a skirt for her.
