Week 16 - Oregon City - April 15 - April 21, 2024
There is a big beautiful Cornus nutalli on the edge of the woods! I call it stunning. Here is what it looks like from the woods.
On Tuesday we had a celebratory birthday lunch at Coaster Crossing Dad and I ordered the very same thing we'd gotten the last time we were there. Here's a photo of the birthday buddies, Ann and Dad.
Pearl's baby kitties are getting bigger.
And...our baby kittens are still cute -
Other than taking photos of our cats, I've been walking every day in the woods - 3 miles in 2-3 hours. I can do it in 2.5 hours if I don't stop along the and pull weeds. When I'm just working in the woods, I've been pulling up Stinging Nettles in wet bogy places where I wear chore boots and double layered shirts so I don't get stung. It's really tiring. I'm also digging up small clumps of blackberries starts and - always- looking for little clumps of bed straw.
