We arose at 6am this morning.....mainly because the main lights flipped on and fellow peligrinos began rustling and talking. Packed up as soon as we could and we were gone by 8:00 (mainly because everyone was kicked out). Zipped to the restaurant where we ate last night so we could use their wifi. Synced with fit but.
We were so cold standing outside playing with phone. Dad had all of his cold weather clothes on. Said hi to everyone and we were gone
This is where we stayed last night.
The hike today was less strenuous than yesterday. Still a lot of up and down so we had no chance to recover from our aches.
The trail looked like this much of the time
This is what it looked like when we were in trees.
Nifty river crossing
Were at a restaurant in the same bldg as our pension. We got the pilgrims meal which is at a lower price. Delicious salad, red peppers stuffed with something and a rice and chicken thing, and an orange for dessert.
We're in a pension tonight rather than a dorm. Dad was so tired and this place was so easy......35.00 instead of 25.00 if we were in a hostel with bunk beds
We're eating dinner with two women from Canada. It's just like people meeting as in the movie "the way".
Tomorrow we go to Pamplona to see the Running of the Bulls.
The walk is supposed to be practically level and only 13.9 miles ----piece of cake.

I think the pension is a good call. This flipping the lights on at 6 am is unacceptable. And I don't think you should run with the bulls...but what do I know? Love you guys!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jessica; I quiet good sleep helps a lot!
