Week 21- Oregon City - June 19 - June 25, 2025
It's a lot of work being a Forest Warden ... or a Woodland Warden, if you prefer. I take my handy trowel/scraper and clear away weeds/plants from the little trees I've planted.
The Daisy seeds I planted three years are thriving and blooming on West Slope.
I put wire grid/frames on Malcolm's Bridge to counteract the incredible slipperiness in the wet winter.
I re-did the bridge going from Sector 2 to Sector 3. The first bridge was just a 2x4, and I always felt as thought I would 'step' off accidently. Now it is a 4x6.
I'm cleaning up the area where the old chicken coop was - it was, and still is, a mess.
Memorial Day (on Sunday) at the cemetery. Actually - - it seems like we've JUST been there. The year passes quickly.
We also decorated Vannessah's grave site.
Sunday - we celebrated the birthdays of Dolores, Ruby, and Jane.
Gotta love the cats, sunning themselves on the lawn chairs.
